Suspicious letter prompts Hazmat response in Millcreek

MILLCREEK, Utah, July 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A building in Millcreek was evacuated after a letter containing a possibly suspicious substance was found there Monday morning.

Eagle Plaza, at 4505 S. Wasatch Blvd., has three floors and houses numerous different businesses.

A Hazmat team as well as the Health Department responded to the scene, according to Unified Fire Authority officials, and have tested the substance, which turned out to not be hazardous.
