SUV rolls in Taylorsville crash

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Sept. 22, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews responded to a crash and rollover involving two vehicles on 4000 South on Saturday night.

Dispatchers received the report of a rollover at 4000 South and 1300 West a little before 6:30 p.m.

A 2018 Honda FIT Sport struck an older model Nissan Pathfinder, causing the Pathfinder to roll over.

Unified Fire Authority responded, and Unified Police officers were on scene for nearly three hours handing the investigation.

West Valley City Police and Fire departments also responded to the crash.

Unified Police Department Sgt. Melody Gray told Gephardt Daily Sunday morning that the driver of the Pathfinder that rolled was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. There was also a 6-year-old old child in the vehicle, who was not injured.
