PROVO, Utah, Oct. 23, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people were transported to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after one driver turned in front of another in Provo, resulting in a collision.
The incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. at 1750 N. State St.
“A Nissan Titan truck was traveling southbound on State Street when a northbound Toyota Scion turned left, colliding with the truck,” says a news release issued by Provo police.
“Both drivers were extracated from their vehicles. The driver and passenger of the truck sustained moderate injuries, and were transported to Utah Valley Hospital.
“The driver of the car sustained serious injuries, and was also transported to Utah Valley Hospital. He is considered to be in serious yet stable condition.”
Southbound lanes were closed for 2.5 hours during the incident investigation, the release says.
“There were no indications of impairment being a factor at this time.”
