SANDY, Utah, Sept. 16, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for information after the tires of between 30 and 40 vehicles were slashed during the Real Salt Lake soccer game Saturday night.
Sandy Police Department officials said the vehicles were parked in the area of 9400 S. 300 East, which is just north of the Rio Tinto Stadium, where the games take place.
Real Salt Lake played Minnesota United in the game, which kicked off at 7:30 p.m. Officials said most of the vehicles belonged to people who were at the game.
Officials said the suspect or suspects could be facing felony charges because of the amount of damage.
Police are viewing surveillance footage but as yet do not have a description of those involved.
