SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 17, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A bus bridge has been activated to accommodate TRAX passengers after a power outage downtown.

The bridge was activated for the Red Line from the Courthouse to the University Medical Center at 5:30 p.m., and buses were dispatched to downtown stations, the Utah Transit Authority said in a series of tweets.

Repair crews are on scene, but UTA said in a tweet that southbound Red Line customers should consider walking to the Courthouse Station, taking a Blue Line to Fashion Place West and catching a Red Line from there.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
