MOAB, Utah, Feb. 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to two rollovers that landed vehicles in the Colorado River on Friday.

And seatbelts made the difference to the drivers, a tweet from the UHP Southeast Region office says:

“UHP State Troopers were dispatched to this truck and another vehicle rollover into the Colorado River this morning near Moab,” the post says.

“Slick black ice conditions all around the state. Seat belts to the rescue, not even a scratch in both crashes!!!! Today was a good day.”

  1. I am curious to know if either one got a citation . My husband also hit black ice and rolled his truck . The state trooper showed up at our house 9 hours later to get a statement and then proceeds to say you are required to have your car under control at all times !
