Truck causes power outage Saturday in Centerville

CENTERVILLE, Utah, Dec. 31, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Centerville Police and South Davis Metro Fire reported a power outage in Centerville on Saturday night, caused by a truck hitting a power line.

Main Street was closed between 200 North and Center Street because of the downed line and a fire.

Shortly before 9 p.m., power was restored to the majority of homes. Main Street was reopened about a half-hour later, and 100 North was reopened at about 9:45 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
