FARR WEST, Utah, July 14, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — An early morning truck fire shut down traffic Thursday in Farr West.

Weber County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call just before 6 a.m. of a vehicle fire near 4000 North and 2000 West.

A man from Tremonton was on his way to work at Hill Air Force Base when he felt heat coming from the dash of his Ford Ranger. The man pulled over as the truck started to catch on fire.

Deputies said the truck was fully consumed within minutes. Traffic was shut down on 2000 West while Weber Fire Department extinguished the flames.

Early investigation shows the fire may have been started by an electrical problem. There were no injuries.
