Police Look For Suspects In Two 7-Eleven Robberies Sunday, Possibly Linked

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – November 30, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are looking for two suspects involved in two robberies committed at two different 7-Elevens Sunday.

According to Salt Lake Police the first robbery occurred at 1:25 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 490 North Redwood Road. Police said two suspects entered the store and indicated they had a firearm. They ran from the store on foot after taking beer and money from the till.

The second robbery occurred later Sunday night at 9:45 p.m at the 7-Eleven located at 535 East 1700 South. In this incident, the clerk was restocking shelves when the two suspects entered the store and brandished a weapon. They left the store on foot after taking money from the till and several cartons of cigarettes.

The suspects in both robberies are described as follows: the first is a lighter-skinned black man with a stocky build, wearing grey sweats with a bandanna over his face. The second suspect is a black man wearing a maroon sweatshirt with a bandanna over his face.

Police are looking into whether these are in fact the same suspects in both incidents.
