UTAH – September 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A 77-year-old Provo man has been found in good condition after being missing for three days in the Uinta Mountains, officials said Sunday.

Christian Herrera became separated from his group while hiking in the Kings Peak area and was last seen north of Gunsight Pass around 2 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Summit County Sheriff Justin Martinez, a friend who was with him said the man had been riding up the mountain on horseback when he went off another direction to take some pictures and became separated.

Search and Rescue crews were staged at Henry’s Fork and LifeFlight is currently assisting in the search as of Friday.
