Two Men Killed After Jeep Rolls Off Freeway and Down Embankment

CISCO, UTAH – August 31, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Two men were killed when the Jeep they were riding in rolled multiple times off I-70 and down an embankment early Sunday morning.

According to Utah Highway Patrol,  Jason Cammons, 35, from Bluebell, UT, and Rodney Higbee, 34, from Mt. Emmons Utah, were travelling eastbound on I-70 at mile marker 206 when Cammons, for some unknown reason, veered into the median then over corrected to the right causing the vehicle to then veer off the road to the right.

The soft top jeep they were riding in rolled down the embankment multiple times. Both Cammons and Higbee were wearing their seat belts, but died at the scene due to their injuries.

There were no other vehicles involved. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
