Two Men Seriously Injured In Salt Lake City Industrial Accident

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 3, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Two men were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon with serious injuries after an industrial accident in Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release the incident happened at 255 N. 400 West on the sixth floor of a building that is under construction, at approximately 12:40 p.m.

The news release said construction crews were working at this location when a large metal beam fell, hitting two workers and knocking them both to the ground. A 31-year-old male and a 26-year-old male were both transported by ambulance to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in serious condition.
