DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah, March 29, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Fire Info is reporting a fire in Duchesne County of more than 200 acres.
The tweet calls the fire the East Myton fire, and say it is about 10% contained.
“Structures threatened,” the tweet says. “Three tribal and one private residence have been evacuated. Fuel type is sagebrush and grass.”
Forty mph winds may be contributing to the spread.
A second wildfire, the North River fire, is estimated at 50 to 60 acres.
“Both fires human caused under investigation,” the Utah Fire Info statement says.
The fires’ exact location within Duchesne County has not yet been revealed.
