HERRIMAN, Utah, May 2, 2017 (Gephardt Daily)  — Unified Fire Authority responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday night at 5300 West and 11800 South. The accident occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m.

UFA Battalion Chief and Public Information Officer Steve Prokopis said the two vehicles collided in the intersection, and one of the vehicles went into the ditch. He said it appeared that the vehicle may have rolled and landed on its wheels.

Prokopis said a medical helicopter was requested, but was too far out, so UFA personnel transported two people by ground ambulance to the hospital, one in serious condition and the other in fair condition.

Unified Police told Gephardt Daily that a third person also was checked out and was found to be in “alpha condition,” with no serious injuries.

Gephardt Daily will update this story as more information becomes available.
