Update: Missing Taylorsville father, son located

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Dec. 10, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police Department officials said a missing man and his 5-year-old son have been located.

“At 10 a.m. Monday, Benjamin Miller, 39 and his son Jacob headed out ‘west’ to get firewood; they have not been heard from since,” said an initial news release from UPD Tuesday morning.

“The phone was pinged in the Bluffdale area Monday morning. They appeared to be traveling southbound. The phone has since been turned off.”

A follow-up news release said Miller’s truck broke down, “but they were able to get it going and return home.”
