HOLLADAY, Utah, Sept. 21, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police Department officers have identified an elderly woman found wandering the streets in the Holladay neighborhood early Wednesday and are reuniting her with her family.

Lt. Brian Lohrke of the Unified Police Department said the woman was found at about 5 a.m. near Cottonwood Lane and Holladay Boulevard. UPD tweeted at 10:40 a.m. the woman’s family had been located.

Lohrke said the woman was fully dressed, well kept, and wasn’t injured, but she wasn’t able to tell officers her name or where she lived.

Officers took her to a care facility to be checked out and she is in good health, other than possibly being affected by dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
