Unified Police investigate teen’s stabbing at Millcreek bowling alley

MILLCREEK, Utah, Dec. 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police officers are investigating a stabbing that took place late Friday afternoon at FatCats in Millcreek.

UPD Detective Kevin Mallory said the incident happened at about 5 p.m., when two girls, who were with a large group of juveniles, got into a confrontation at the bowling alley, at 3739 S. 900 East.

“The altercation became physical, and one girl stabbed the other multiple times in the torso,” Mallory told Gephardt Daily.

“The victim was conscious, breathing, and alert, and was transported to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. She was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries,” he added.

Mallory said the two girls involved are about 15-16 years old.

Police are currently looking for the suspect and interviewing witnesses.

Mallory said he isn’t sure what the altercation was about.
