MILLCREEK, Utah, Dec. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found deceased on Wednesday in Millcreek.

The UPD has released a photo of a ring the man was wearing, and, in a highly unusual step, has also released a photo of the deceased man’s face.

That photo — which some people may find disturbing — is at the bottom of this article. Anyone who does not want to see it is advised to avoid scrolling down.

The body, which was nude, was found at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near a parking lot at the Big Cottonwood Regional Park, 4720 S. 1590 East, Millcreek. A local man was out walking his dog, and the dog led him to the body.

An earlier statement by the UPD said there were no immediate signs of foul play on the deceased.

“Investigators have exhausted all leads into finding his identity,” a statement released Wednesday night by the Unified Police Department says.

“We are asking for the help of the media and the public in identifying this man.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the UPD at 801-743-7000.

The photo of the deceased appears below.

  1. Bless his heart. I wish I could help, no one should have to die alone or without someone to bury and grieve the loss of a fellow human being. I’m hoping someone can help find out who is his.
