SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, Jan. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department has asked for the public’s help in identifying a man believed to be behind unsolved robberies of a Maverik Gas Station in Salt Lake City and a Family Dollar Store in Taylorsville.

In both robberies the male wore the same basic disguise, including a hoodie, and used a gun of similar description, with a black grip and silver slide.

UPD and SLCPD detectives are releasing the surveillance photos and video in hopes that someone may recognize the suspect by his appearance or by his voice. The suspect is polite during the robbery, and even thanked the clerk for the money.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to call the UPD Violent Crimes Unit at 385-468-9814.
