EVANSTON, Wyo., Oct. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Leakae Roberts, the University of Utah employee who went missing from Evanston, Wyo., has been found.
“UPDATE! Roberts was located in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 02, 2018,” says a Tuesday morning Facebook post from the Uinta (Wyo.) County Sheriff’s Office.
“She was located alive and well in southern Utah by law enforcement officials. She is being reunited with family members at this time. Thank you to everyone in the wonderful land of Facebook for your extreme outpouring of support and assistance with locating Roberts!”
The Evanston Police Department had asked for the public’s help finding Roberts — an executive assistant in the U’s Department of Medicine — who was last seen in Evanston on Saturday, and who had reportedly left her children with a family member. No additional details were released on the circumstances under which Roberts was located.
