WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials have identified a 23-year-old man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in the Farr West area Monday evening.

The deceased driver is Cayden Bright, of Riverdale, said a news release from Utah Highway Patrol Tuesday afternoon.

“The driver of a gray 2000 Honda Odyssey was northbound on I-15 near mile post 350, at 9:27 p.m.,” the news release said. “For an unknown reason, the driver drove off the road to the left, hit the concrete barrier and rolled.”

Bright, the sole occupant, was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected and killed. The vehicle rolled out into the travel lane where it was hit by a semi.

The incident is under investigation.
