Update: Police ID man dead after rollover in Parley’s Canyon

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah, July 11, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police officials have identified a man who died in a rollover on Interstate 80 in Parley’s Canyon Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased is Robert Lowell Breitling, 90, of Draper, said a tweet from the Unified Police Department Thursday.

“Our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” the tweet said.

The accident, near exit 132 (Mt. Aire Canyon Road), occurred on the right shoulder, a post from the Utah Department of Transportation said.

UPD officials first tweeted about the accident at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday. According to reports, fire officials arrived at the scene to find a truck on its side with the driver pinned inside the vehicle, deceased.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
