MURRAY, Utah, Feb. 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified a teen who died after falling through the roof of an industrial warehouse which houses a Murray business Monday night.

The deceased is Keltin Ouellette, 17, of Clearfield, Murray Police officer Kenny Bass told Gephardt Daily. Ouellette fell approximately 40 feet, Bass said. That’s the rough equivalent of four stories.

Authorities responded to the scene of the fall shortly before 9 p.m. Monday at Wagstaff Crane, 4343 S. Commerce Drive (300 West).

Murray City Police Sgt. Marvin Barlow told Gephardt Daily Monday night three teens were climbing on top of a building at that location, when Ouellette fell through the roof.

The two other teen boys, who are 14 and 18 years old, stayed with Ouellette until help arrived, Bass said.

Bass said the property is fully fenced in, so it’s likely the teens climbed through or over the fence and were trespassing.

An investigation into the incident is underway.

Gephardt Daily will update this developing story as more information becomes available.
