UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 26, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Thousands of Rocky Mountain Power customers in American Fork and Lehi were left without power Tuesday morning.
The outage originally affected 3,071 customers in the zip codes 84042, 84003, 84062 and 84043.
Electricity was restored to some, but as of 8:30 a.m., 1,850 customers were still powerless in the zip codes 84003 and 84043.
Utah Transit Authority tweeted the outage has affected the FrontRunner train service in American Fork, causing delays of three to five minutes.
The outage was reported just after 5 a.m., and at this time crews are investigating the cause.
The RMP website says power should be restored imminently.
