SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Dec. 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Springville family was surprised to find a broken window in their home, and even more surprised to find out how it happened, officials said Monday.

A tweet from Utah Division of Wildlife Resources said: “With the help of a security camera, a Springville family learned a little bit about headbutting competitions between bighorn sheep rams during their November rut. One of the rams headbutted his own reflection in one of their windows.”

The breeding season, called “rut,” occurs in mid-November.
