HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss., Nov. 30 (Ashley Ward, Gephardt Daily, WLOX) ─ A Utah man suffered critical injuries after his FedEx truck overturned on a freeway in Mississippi, according to Fox 8 News, WLOX.
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Cpl. Benjamin Seibert said the truck overturned at exit 2 just before 7 a.m. on Interstate 10. The driver told them he hit the median, causing the truck to overturn, Seibert said.
Dwight Miska of West Jordan, 55, was transported by ambulance to North Shore Hospital in Slidell, with critical injuries including a broken back.
Miska’s wife Cindy, who is in Mississippi with him, said he will be undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair a fractured T-10 disk in his spine.
