BONNEVILLE COUNTY, IDAHO – September 24, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Officials in Idaho have identified a Utah man who was killed when he jumped from a moving vehicle Tuesday night.
According to Troopers, Kirk Winward, 45, of Salt Lake City, was a passenger in a van travelling east on U.S. Highway 20 in Bonneville County when he jumped from the van into the lanes of traffic.
Winward was struck by multiple vehicles and died at the scene.
It is unclear why Winward jumped as this incident is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
