Utah men arrested in Wendover for possession of meth, heroin

WENDOVER, Utah, June 17, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Two Utah men were arrested in Wendover and charged with possession of methamphetamine and heroin among other charges.

A news release from the Wendover Police Department said officials conducted an investigation of illegal narcotics on a traffic stop in the 100 block of Wendover Boulevard Friday at 3 p.m. The incident occurred in the Utah side of Wendover.

Wendover Police arrested a 34-year-old Heber man, identified as Scott Duke, and 35-year-old Salt Lake City man, identified as Nathan Madrano, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and outstanding felony warrants.

Madrano had fled on foot and was captured by West Wendover Police in Nevada nearby.

Both men were booked into the Tooele County Jail.
