Utah rodeo fans to welcome home champs

UINTAH COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 15, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah rodeo fans are celebrating the accomplishments of three national .rodeo champs

Two of the world champions are from Uintah County and winners of the 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo competition in Las Vegas.

A third newly crowned champ is from Beaver County.

“Get ready Uintah County! Let’s welcome home World Champion Bull Rider Josh Frost and World Champion Bareback Rider Dean Thompson,” says a statement issued by the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

“This Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. let’s line Highway 40 from Lowes all the way to Vernal Avenue. Wear your boots and hats and come out and celebrate these two champions!”

According to ProRodeo.com, Frost is from Randlett and Thompson is from Altamont.

Beaver area resident Ryder Wright, took first place as World Champion Saddle Bronc rider.
