Utah woman in hospital after motorcycle crashes in Idaho

SODA SPRINGS, Idaho, June 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Utah woman was injured Sunday night when the motorcycle she was driving crashed on Idaho State Highway 34, north of Soda Springs.

Cheryl Molzon, 48, of Hurricane, was on a 2014 Harley-Davidson, northbound on SH-34, an Idaho State Police news release states.

The crash occurred about 8 p.m. at milepost 69, when “Molzon drove off the left shoulder where the motorcycle came to a rest.”

Molzon was not wearing a helmet.

She was transported by ground ambulance to Caribou Memorial Hospital and later was  flown by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
