SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, Dec. 17, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A single-vehicle rollover in South Jordan is just one of the many accidents Thursday morning due to slick winter conditions along Utah’s roads.

According to South Jordan Fire Battalion Chief Brian Allred, the accident happened near 10700 South Jordan Gateway just after 9:30 a.m. when the driver lost control on the slick road and rolled.

“Thankfully, there were only minor injuries to the two occupants,” Allred said. “They were not transported to the hospital.”

A warning on the Utah Department of Transportation website is a reminder that road conditions are still dangerous. “The roads look significantly better than Monday…but don’t be fooled…there’s still black ice out there so slow down & put the phone down.”

UDOT has put together a video for anyone wanting winter driving tips and suggestions.
