Utah’s weekend weather: Statewide forecast

UTAH, March 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — If you’ve wishing for high winds and snowy winter weather, this is your weekend.

And be careful what you wish for.

A major storm predicted for Friday was stalled, but only a little. Logan gets its first flakes Friday, and snow arrives in other areas sometime Saturday.

The warmest you’ll get in the cities below is 65 degrees Saturday afternoon in Moab. Runners-up, all on Friday, were:

  • 64 degrees in St. George
  • 56 degrees in Central Utah
  • 53 degrees in Salt Lake City
  • 45 degrees in Logan

We all get our coldest night on Sunday. Chilliest is Central Utah, at 12 degrees. Runners up are:

  • 18 degrees in Logan
  • 25 degrees in Salt Lake City and Moab
  • 29 degrees in St. George
