Vandals cause thousands in damage at Washington Terrace school construction site

WEBER COUNTY, Utah, June 5, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) -- The Weber County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying those responsible for causing extensive damage early Thursday morning to a school being built in Washington Terrace.

According to a news release from WCSO Lt. Sean Endsley, the group broke into the construction site of the new Roosevelt Elementary School and vandalized the building, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage.

"The Weber School District is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the people responsible for this crime," Endsley said. He also included multiple surveillance photos of the masked vandals inside the school.

"If you recognize the people in the photos below, or have information related to the case, please contact the Weber County Sheriff's Office Investigations Bureau at 801-778-6631," Endsley asked.
