SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 7, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Salt Lake City woman is in critical condition after she was pinned between her vehicle and a gate outside a business Saturday evening.
The incident happened at a business in the area of 1430 S. 1100 East just before 6 p.m., a Salt Lake City Police Department news release said.
“A woman pulled her vehicle out of the parking lot and walked behind the vehicle to close and secure a gate,” the news release said. “The vehicle rolled backwards and struck the victim, trapping her between the vehicle and the gate.
“Fire personnel responded and manually pushed the vehicle off of the victim.”
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
