Vernal Man Killed In Dagget Co. Camping Accident
DAGGETT COUNTY, UTAH – July 11, 2015 – (Gephardt Daily) – A Vernal man has been killed in a camping accident at Greens Draw in Daggett County.
According to the Daggett County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan Gardiner, age 40, was found pinned between a camper and another vehicle around 10:30 p.m. Friday.
First responders say Gardiner was conscious and talking when they arrived, but his condition quickly deteriorated. They were unable to stabilize him for transport and he was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:25 a.m.
The cause of the accident has yet to be determined.
