Vernal Police search for 3 men missing nearly a week

VERNAL, Utah, May 28, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Vernal have issued a missing persons’ report for three men who have not been seen since last Monday.

Vernal Police said in a news release on Facebook that the department was contacted Friday by family members regarding the three men, who had not been seen since May 22.

The men have been identified as Robert Alan Spoon and Jason Ralph Tilt, both 33, and Jacob Douglas Tilt, 29. The three men were last seen in a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado truck with a temporary tag.

“Family members are concerned that all three have cellular phones which have either run out of battery life or been turned off,” the news release said. “Family members and law enforcement have been searching known associates and areas in the Uintah Basin with no contact.”

The families have also been posting photos and other information on social media sites.

Law enforcement has listed an attempt to locate nationwide on all three individuals to check on their welfare.

The vernal police should all be fired they were told last week there men were missing they did nothing till Sunday s of 2 30 today it has been 24 hours since they actually have done anything it’s a joke no wonder or civil servants are under investigation in some areas of Utah as when strangers care more about helping find them than our own police
