DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Davis County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue pulled off an amazing rescue Monday after three men got stranded while hunting in Syracuse.

With the Sisu Nasu, a multi-track vehicle designed for the Finnish army, they were able to bring the trio out of the mud, snow and dense phragmites in record time.

The 17-passenger personnel carrier was donated to Davis County by Diesel Brothers in Woods Cross.

Davis County SAR posted the following message on Facebook:

“A big thank you to Syracuse FD, police, and our DCSO deputies for the help in a quick rescue of 3 Airman that were hunting out in the 13ft tall phragmites. What would have taken many hours took just over 1 hour!!!

“Thank you Diesel Brothers again for the machine that made it happen so quickly today!”
