PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH – August 19, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A Pleasant Grove police officer is gaining quite a bit of notoriety for his fancy dance moves caught on camera while hanging out in a local convenience store.
The officer, who made every attempt to keep up to the beat of “Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae”, a very popular dance song, but according to the PG Police department, they sarcastically said they are trying to get him some help.
In a post on the PG Police Facebook they apologized for the officers behavior saying: “This video is a little hard to watch. Unfortunately it does involve one of our officers. We were alerted by the manager of a local convenience store about some suspicious behavior and the security video footage was obtained. To our community and to the internet as a whole, we apologize. We are looking at getting this officer some help ASAP. (His timing was way off).”
Appreciating sarcasm, the police department posted the surveillance camera footage for the world to catch a glimpse of an officer having way too much fun.
