Videos: Air tankers fight Francis Fire in Davis County, now at 200 acres

FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah, Sept. 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Francis Fire, on the mountainside behind Fruit Heights, is reported to have grown from 100 to 200 acres Monday night.

Utah Fire Info tweeted shortly before 10 p.m.:

#FrancisFire mandatory evacuations will be lifted at 10 pm tonight (Monday). Those in evacuation zones should remain on alert and be ready to go should fire activity change.

Resources on scene include 17 structure and wildland fire engines, two squads, four helicopters, two air tankers, one lead plane and one air attack, Utah Fire Info said.

High winds are presenting a challenge to firefighting efforts on this blaze, which is burning in grass and oak brush.
