SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 5, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Salt Lake Virgin Mobile store on Thursday.
According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, the suspect entered the store at 880 W. 200 North at 9:13 p.m., brandished a weapon and demanded money.
The store clerk walked to the back of the business to call police, and the suspect left empty-handed.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5-feet-6-inches tall and 130 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black backpack. Police believe he may have fled east on 200 North and north on 800 West.
