MURRAY, Utah, Dec. 13, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A water main break in Murray caused a flood that has led to a road being closed Tuesday morning.

Murray Police Department spokesman Officer Kenny Bass said the break occurred at about 5:30 a.m. at 635 W. Clover Crest Drive (5050 South), sending water and some dirt cascading down the road.

Bass said that although the road is likely to be closed until about noon while public works teams repair the main, no homes have been affected and no residents have been evacuated.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
