Weber County Sheriff deputies respond to shots fired call during Eden house party

WEBER COUNTY, Utah, June 2, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Weber County Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple calls of shots fired during a house party in Eden in the early Sunday morning.

Numerous 911 calls came into to dispatch at approximately 2 a.m., according to Weber County Sheriff’s Office officials, reporting a person firing a gun outside a home in the area of 5500 E. 2300 North. At the same time, a fight had broken out, officials said.

Multiple agencies responded, officials added, but by the time police arrived, most of the people attending the party had gone.

Officials did not find the person who fired the gun or the individuals involved in the fight, but they did locate multiple shell casings in the road.

No one was injured in the incident, officials said.

At this time there is no description of the suspect or suspects or any suspect vehicle.

  1. The house where the shooting occurred is an illegal AirBnB rental. This area is not zoned for nightly AirBnB rentals. Please report this, and other illegal Ogden Valley AirBnB rentals to the Weber County Zoning Enforcement.

    The only areas zoned for nightly rental are the hotels, Wolf Creek & Moose Hollow.
