West Bountiful police seek public’s help identifying robbery suspect

WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah, Sept. 11, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The West Bountiful Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a gas station robbery.

The man entered the Shell station at 560 W. 500 South at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

“A male suspect entered the store and demanded cash from the clerk,” a West Bountiful Police statement says.

“The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, possibly Hispanic, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old. The suspect was further described as having a mustache and goatee. No other distinguishing features were observed.”

The man was wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, light-colored jeans, gloves, and a white/camo baseball style T-shirt. He fled the scene on foot.

“We are asking for public assistance to identify and locate the suspect,” the WBPD statement says. “Please do not approach or attempt to contact the suspect.”
