WEST JORDAN, Utah, Jan. 28, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — West Jordan police have located a van that is thought to have been involved in a hit-and-run crash on Jan. 16.

West Jordan police posted a video on Facebook Monday morning of the van allegedly hitting a truck, then appearing to mount the curb and continue down the road, at 5:34 a.m.

“Update: we located the van this afternoon,” a follow-up post said. “Investigation can now continue. Thanks for the help!” An officer located the van during a traffic stop, officials said.

The original post said: “We need to identify this van and driver. This could have been much much worse. Luckily no one was in the truck. Van will be damaged on front driver’s side most likely. As you can see it appears there is some sort of business signage on the passenger side middle window. We believe it’s an older model Dodge. Can anyone help?”
