WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Jan. 11, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people were transported to area hospitals after a two-car crash in West Valley City Thursday evening.

Lt. Steve Burke from the West Valley City Police Department said officials received reports of an accident with injuries at approximately 8:20 p.m. at 6865 W. 4100 South, involving a white car with four people in it. The white car had three adults and a child, and a green car had just the driver in it.

“Initial reports were there were people laying in the road,” Burke said. “When officers arrived, they found that there were people around the cars, nobody was laying in the road.”

The three adults who were in the white car were transported to the hospital by ground ambulance with varying injuries, he said. One woman sustained head injuries but is in stable condition and two men had minor injuries. The child in the car was uninjured, as was the driver of the green car.

Initial reports indicate that one of the vehicles was waiting to turn left when it was hit by the other vehicle.
