WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Sept. 26, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — West Valley City police officials said a missing man who is “almost entirely deaf” has been located.
Wesley Butcher, 59, was last seen on foot in the area of 2800 S. 3200 West, said a tweet from West Valley City Police Department on Thursday afternoon.
“It is urgent that we find Mr. Butcher because he is almost entirely deaf and suffers from mental illness,” a follow-up tweet said. “He has been missing since early Thursday morning, which is highly unusual for him, and his family is extremely concerned.”
A tweet from WVCPD at 5:40 p.m. said: “Wesley Butcher has been found safe. We thank everyone for their help in locating him.”
