Woman arrested in connection to mail thefts, forged checks, ID theft

DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 30, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Darci M. Allen, who was wanted on two arrest warrants in Davis County, has been taken into custody, the Davis County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the sheriff’s office was seeking the public’s help in locating Allen. She was wanted in connection to mail thefts in Fruit Heights, passing forged checks and identity theft.

The Monday Facebook post concluded with, “Darci, when you read this, please turn yourself into the Sheriff’s Office located at 800 West State Street, Farmington Utah. We can also give you a ride here if needed, just give us a call we are available 24/7.”

In announcing Allen’s arrest, the sheriff’s office didn’t say how they managed to make contact with her.
