UPDATED: Woman Found Deceased in Vehicle Submerged in Jordan River Named
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, May 11 (Gephardt Daily) – A woman who was found deceased inside her car in the Jordan River Sunday has been identified as 27-year-old Vanessa Becenti from Clearfield.
A man walking on the south side of North Temple near 1000 West found the car submerged upside-down.
Police said it appears the vehicle may have been driving on railroad tracks before the accident.
In a statement, they stated: “There is no indication that anyone else was in the vehicle, Fire and Police checked down river to 600 North but did not locate anything.”
