Woman injured at hot springs in Diamond Fork Canyon

SPRINGVILLE, Utah, Jan. 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 35-year-old woman was injured at the popular Fifth Water Hot Springs in Springville Sunday, officials said.

Utah County Sheriff’s Office tweeted at approximately 7 p.m. that the incident occurred at the hot springs in Diamond Fork Canyon.

The tweet said Life Flight assisted with locating the woman and Search and Rescue crews were carrying her out.

Her injury was not life threatening. Officials did not provide any further details of the injury.
