CENTERVILLE, Utah, Aug. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Teams from multiple agencies worked together Sunday to bring an injured hiker off a mountain and to the hospital.
A 40-year-old woman was hiking in Centerville when she lost her footing and injured her ankle, according to a Facebook post by Davis County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue.
Teams from South Davis Metro Fire, Davis County Sheriff’s SAR, Centerville Police Department and Life Flight shared in the rescue effort.
The Facebook post ended with, “A big thanks to all the skilled professionals that made for a quick rescue!!!”
